Annual General Meeting May 7, 2024 at 7:30pm

In preparation for the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday May 7, 2024 at 7:30 pm, please find the agenda for the meeting at the bottom of this announcement.

As a reminder, only members who have paid their 2024 dues will be sent the link to join the meeting. Check your email Monday night for zoom link.

We are pleased to have Nadia Bechai, as our guest speaker. Nadia will be focusing her presentation on succession planning for recreational properties and homes.

There will be a brief question and answer period at the AGM. In addition, if you would like to send any question in advance of the meeting, please email president@lwra.net and Nadia will try to work them into her presentation.

We kindly ask that your 2024 annual membership dues of $50 to be paid by e-
transfer to treasurer@lwra.net or send by cheque, payable to LWRA, mailed to
LWRA c/o 12 Elmview Drive Toronto, On M1N 2W4. Please indicate that this is

your annual dues

Nadia Bechai is the founder of Bechai Law, a boutique law firm in Toronto, where
she specializes in estate planning and administration. She has earned the TEP
designation – an
internationally recognized designation that formally identifies
trusts and estates practitioners who demonstrate expertise in the field.    Nadia will
review the importance of estate planning, particularly in the context of the recently
announced federal budget and its impact on the transfer of recreational properties.”
